Founder & CEO
Dr. Maliek Blade is the visionary founder and CEO of the Whole Brother Mission, a groundbreaking nonprofit organization launched in 2019 to support the mental health of Black men and empower Black families. With a doctorate in counseling, Dr. Blade specializes in relational communication, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and strengthening father-son relationships. His impactful work is underscored by his influential book, Whole Brother: Debunking the Myths that Break the Black Family, which addresses critical issues at the intersection of Black culture and mental health. A sought-after national speaker, Dr. Blade regularly addresses audiences on these vital topics. Originally from Southeast Washington, DC, he brings a deep understanding of the challenges facing Black communities to clients as well as the executive leadership of the Whole Brother Mission.
As our dedicated Executive Assistant and Intake Coordinator, Kallyn Richardson plays a vital role in supporting Whole Brother Mission’s operations and ensuring a seamless experience for those we serve.
