Whole Brother Mission is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping Black men and their families with the tools needed to achieve wholeness in every aspect of life. By connecting individuals with licensed mental health professionals, life coaches, mentors, and a wealth of resources, we strive to enhance the quality of life for our community.

Founded with the mission to bridge the gap in mental health services for Black communities, we understand the unique challenges you face. At Whole Brother Mission, we are committed to providing compassionate, culturally competent care that fosters resilience, healing, and growth.

Dr. Maliek Blade

Founder & CEO

Dr. Maliek Blade is the visionary founder and CEO of the Whole Brother Mission, a groundbreaking nonprofit organization launched  in 2019 to support the mental health of Black men and empower Black families. With a doctorate in counseling, Dr. Blade specializes in relational communication, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and strengthening father-son relationships. His impactful work is underscored by his influential book, Whole Brother: Debunking the Myths that Break the Black Family, which addresses critical issues at the intersection of Black culture and mental health. A sought-after national speaker, Dr. Blade regularly addresses audiences on these vital topics. Originally from Southeast Washington, DC, he brings a deep understanding of the challenges facing Black communities to clients as well as the executive leadership of the Whole Brother Mission.
